11 months!

My baby is one month shy of being 1 year!!! Crazy how fast time goes! This post is a few days late, sorry. But here she is, and no, she's still not crawling :( Very close...

Christmas 2012

I know I've got some catching up to do so I'll start with birthday and Christmas stuff.
Sierra had a birthday in December and turned 4! I can't believe she's 4 already. We had a big birthday bash with lots of good friends and family over. I sure love my little sweetheart! She's growing up way too fast!
Christmas was great too. Naturally, Gracie's too young to really care what's going on but we still tried to make it fun for both the girls. We took them to the tree lighting ceremony here in Eagle Mountain, and Santa came too. We were able to get some cute pictures of the girls' visit. Gracie's first Santa visit was fun.
We also took them to see the lights at Thanksgiving Point. Sierra loved that, and Gracie, we discovered, loves Christmas lights as well.
Sierra got her much anticipated dolly stroller and a few other doll accessories, she loves that stroller sooo much, It's her favorite thing now.
Gracie also got her first baby doll and stroller, as well as a cute little white teddy bear, which she immediately began breaking in by sticking it in her mouth. lol
All in all, we really had a good Christmas!

6 months!!

A spilling of guts

I feel like time is moving so fast, I can't hold onto it. Since Gracie was born, time has just absolutely flown by. I mean, here it is Christmastime already! And my baby, Sierra, is four years old! 4!! It just seems like I brought her home from the hospital. Sometimes I wonder if I've wasted time not doing things I should have been doing with her. I think of all the times I've been angry with her and yelled at her when I could have taken that moment and given her extra love. I feel like I'm getting old. My kids are going to grow up so fast and leave. Be out on their own, starting their own families, and I'm going to wonder where the time went. This moment, I want to hold my sleeping baby Gracie and watch my baby Sierra as she sleeps. You just never know what's going to happen from day to day, so I want to give my kids the extra time and attention they need. An extra hug before bed, an extra story. One more kiss. One more "I love you." I just want them to know what they mean to me. That I wouldn't trade them for anything in the whole world. I just want time to slow down a little bit so I can watch them grow. I need to remember the special moments. I don't want to forget a single thing. Gracie's laugh is magical. Beautiful. Amazing. Her smile melts my heart every time. Sierra's antics crack me up. I love my beautiful, amazing, wonderful little girls so much! I thank the Lord every day for sending them to me.

Introducing ...

Graciela Marie Silva, born Friday July 13th at 8:00am, 7lbs. 3oz., 19 inches. Sierra is a proud big sister! It's been such a joy and a blessing to add another princess to our family! 

2.5 weeks...

Just being patient...or trying to. I'm waiting for either my water to break or the scheduled c-sec date on July 13. Why is it so hard to be patient sometimes? Anyway, that's the latest :)

Easter!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! It was very nice for us, Sierra got to have an egg hunt with a friend on Saturday, then she had her own Sunday morning. She had a blast and she loved all the goodies in her Easter basket! (Mostly in one sitting, haha. She would have kept going had I not hidden it) lol Anyway, here's some pictures, enjoy!

Pregnant belly update

Well here's a picture of the belly :) Getting there! :) The dr. gave an official date of July 21st! And they like to take the baby out a week before so I won't go into labor so my Little Rocio will probably be born about July 14th! Fun! (I have to have c-sections, not so fun!)

Just a rant...

I feel like a nothing, like I'm not good for anything, or AT anything. I have no stinkin talent, I can't even sew a simple snap on a stupid shirt. I should be so excited and happy about this precious life that's growing inside of me but I just feel fat and depressed, what's wrong with me anyway?!

I know, I need an update...

'Nuff said! I promise I'll get right to it as soon as I'm over this nasty flu! I haven't been this sick in years :( It really stinks to be sick like this when you're pregnant!

Christmas!

It was truly a wonderful Christmas, full of that awesome Christmas magic. Sierra's at a good age to really get into things now. Something funny, when we put the cookies and milk out for Santa, I went to get something else and I looked over, Sierra's sitting there gnawing on Santa's cookies lol. She really cracks me up!
I had her Santa stuff all ready and then when we went to see Santa Claus and he asked her what she wanted, she came up with "a new doll" on her own. So I had to come up with something...(well I didn't HAVE to but we want to make our children happy, right?) So I have had a pretty doll in storage for a while and decided Santa could deliver that too. :) And it turned out on Christmas morning, it wouldn't really have mattered because when she came in holding another of her dolls, she saw her kitchen, dropped her other doll and went straight for that. lol I kept saying, "Look what else Santa brought!" but she hardly took a second glance at her new doll for a few minutes, silly girl. Anyway, I hope that everyone had as wonderful a Christmas as we did! And may your new year be even better than the last!
